Acara ini dibuka langsung oleh Mantan Wakil Bupati Karanganyar sekaligus alumni MUHI, Rohadi Widodo pada Kamis (10/11/2022). Pembukaan event ini terusan dari upacara bendera mengenang hari pahlawan.

Dalam acara bergengsi ini, pihak panitia menyasar kepada siswa setingkat SMP dan MTs di Kabupaten Karanganyar dan sekitarnya. Selain untuk menyelenggarakan dan menyemarakkan milad, ajang ini juga sebagai ajang penampilan bakat dari masing-masing SMP di Karamganyar.

Mengingat ini ajang tahunan, pada acara ini diikuti sekitar 30 team. Panitia mengagendakan acara berlangsung dua hari dan puncaknya adalah di hari minggu.

Besarnya antusias dari peserta, mengakibatkan tribun penonton penuh dalam setiap pertandingan yang berlangsung. Suara-suara semangat dari suporter, dan teriakan histeris menandakan keseruan akan pertandingan kali ini.
