Guyon Waton Tampil Atraktif Pukau Siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar

KARANGANYAR, iNewskaranganyar.id – Milad SMA Muhammadiyah 1 (Muhi) Karanganyar memberi kejutan pada para siswa dengan mengundang  grup band Guyon Waton dari Kulonprogo.

Pihak sekolah sengaja mengundang grup musik yang tengah naik daun ini untuk memberi kado hadiah pada para muridnya. Pada Milad sebelumnya, SMA Muhi ini juga pernah mengundang penyanyi legendaris campursari almarhum Didi Kempot.

Kehadiran grup band Guyon Waton dari Kulonprogro di Milad ke 46 ini mengejutkan para siswa. Mereka tak menyangka bila pihak sekolah mengudang band yang tengah naik daun ini ke sekolah mereka.

Sontak, kehadiran grup Guyon Waton ini disambut 1.500 pelajar. Para pelajar ini menumpahkan ekspresi kegembiraan dengan mengikuti alunan lagu yang dibawakan grup Guyon Waton di halaman indoor sekolah yang sudah disulap layaknya panggung hiburan dilapangan terbuka.

Apalagi, pentas musik grup Guyon Waton yang dihadirkan pihak sekolah ini bertepatan dengan selesainnya Ujian Akhir Semester (UAS)

Kepala Sekolah (Kasek) SMA Muhi Karanganyar Sumarwanto mengatakan bila pihaknya hanya sebatas mewujudkan keinginan para siswa untuk menghadirkan grup band Guyon Waton yang disampaikan melalui OSIS dan IPM.

“Permintaan artis itu dari pelajar dan kami hanya mensupport selama masih bermanfaat baik bagi pelajar dan akademis. Ya memang disaat jeda pasca UTS ini pelajar menghendaki ada request artis untuk penyegaran maka kami support,” papar Sumarwanto, Kamis (15/12/2022).

Ia berharap setelah request artis diharapkan, saat kembali masuk sekolah aktif pelajar sudah sehat dan fokus belajar dengan penuh prestasi.

Apalagi prestasi SMA Muhi Karanganyar sudah teruji. Bahkan di SMA Muhi Karanganyar sudah diterapkan belajar ala kuliah yakni menggunakan Sistem Kredit Semester (SKS) sehingga siswa bisa lulus SMA hanya dua tahun dengan prestasi bagus.

Sehingga, meski saat ini diberlakukan sistem zonasi, tak berpengaruh terhadap minat orang tua untuk menyekolahkan putra-putrinya di SMA Muhi.

“Kami justru beruntung karena dari kuota 432 yang mendaftar tapi diakhir waktu bertambah 750 an orang sehingga jumlah murid kami sebanyak 1.350 orang,”ujarnya.***
