Guyon Waton Hipnotis Siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar

KARANGANYAR, solotrust.com – SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar mengundang grup band Guyon Waton dalam rangka memperingati milad ke-46 sekolah setempat. Aksi hiburan ini digelar di halaman sekolah, Kamis (15/12/2022).

Sekira seribuan siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar tumpah ruah di halaman indoor sekolah. Mereka turut berdendang bersama Guyon Waton yang membawakan belasan lagu pop Jawa koplo.

 

 

 

Acara ini sendiri dihelat usai pelaksanaan Ujian Akhir Semester (UAS). Tampak semua siswa terhipnotis dengan penampilan band Guyon Waton asal Yogyakarta ini. Para siswa kompak mengenakan baju hitam-hitam ini nampak terhibur dan menikmati penampilan band kesayangan mereka.

Sementara itu, Kepala SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar, Sumarwanto, mengatakan pementasan musik ini merupakan bagian dari kegiatan milad, sekaligus untuk mengakomodasi kehendak pelajar melalui OSIS dan IPM yang menginginkan penyegaran usai ujian sekolah.

“Band Guyon Waton ini merupakan permintaan dari pelajar. Kami hanya men-support (mendukung-red) selama masih bermanfaat, baik bagi pelajar dan akademis. Memang di saat jeda setelah ujian ini pelajar menghendaki ada request artis untuk penyegaran, maka kami support,” terangnya.

Lebih lanjut Sumarwanto menambahkan, prestasi siswa-siswinya sudah teruji. Bahkan di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar sudah diterapkan belajar ala kuliah, yakni menggunakan Sistem Kredit Semester (SKS), sehingga siswa bisa lulus SMA hanya dua tahun dengan prestasi bagus. Selain itu, SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar juga memperkuat basis pendidikan dengan orientasi tahfiz dan mahir bahasa Inggris dengan cara diikutsertakan di kampung Inggris di Pare Kediri.

”Jurusan Tahfiz Quran kami perkuat basis pendidikan dengan pondok pesantren di Cemani, Sukoharjo dan untuk penguatan bahasa Inggris siswa kami sekolahkan ke Kediri,” papar Sumarwanto.

Kendati saat ini diberlakukan zonasi sekolah, namun menurut Sumarwanto justru berdampak menguntungkan. Pasalnya dari kuota 432 pendaftar, di akhir waktu justru bertambah sekira 750 anak sehingga jumlah siswa mencapai 1.350.

Bupati Karanganyar, Juliyatmono pun turut hadir dalam acara ini. Dalam sambutannya, ia mengajak para pelajar agar menggunakan telepon seluler dengan baik dan cerdas. Pasalnya, jika tak menggunakannya dengan baik akan mendorong kemunduran kecerdasan.

” Kemunduran IQ generasi muda sekarang, terutama pelajar disebabkan lebih senang pegang HP (telepon seluler) daripada membaca buku. Jika ingin masa depan pelajar cerah, sayangilah dan kembalilah membaca buku,” seru Juliyatmono.
